Xao Seffcheque was known as an Austrian musician and screenwriter and was born on January 5, 1956, in Graz. It must be noted that Xao Seffcheque relocated to Dusseldorf in November 1977. While in Dusseldorf, he joined the music performance group known as Padit Noidlt.
He also worked as an author of Sounds, which was a music magazine. He also worked on the book series Rock Session published by Rowohit-Verlag. In 1980, he had his recording debut but due to limited distribution, the LP could not become successful.
His breakthrough came with the release of the album Very Good Comes Very Good. The album was released on the Schallmauer Records Label. Later in December 1980, Xao Seffcheque together with Brigitte Buhler and Eva Gossling, he recorded the Blasse record, Love Saxophone.
He came up with his band, Xao und die Pest, and released the LP, Ja-No. He had a good relationship with Charley’s Girls. It must be noted that in 1979, Xao Seffcheque recorded a concert by Mittagspause. It was re-released in 1981 due to the band split up under the title Punk Makes A Big Ass.
Xao Seffcheqpue later teamed up with Peter Hein to form Family 5 in 1981. Family 5 produced several albums until 2021. He was the moderator of the program, Muzik Convoy between 1984 and 1985 on the WDR evening program with Robert Treutel and Alan Bangs.
He also worked as a journalist and he was one of the protagonists in Jurgen Teipel’s book titled Waste Your Youth. In the early 1980s, Xao Seffcheque started writing scripts and producing films.

Xao Seffcheque died on March 26, 2023. He died in Cologne and the cause of his death has not yet been reported or confirmed
