In the history of German entertainment, the name Achim Mentzel cannot be erased. He was a German musician, actor and television presenter. He was born on July 15, 1946, and he became quite popular as the host of the show called Achims Hitparade. This was from 1989 to 2006.
Achim Mentzel was also known due to the work he did with Oliver Kaikofe. He was known to have released a total of 23 singles and seven albums from 1973 to 2010. Later on, he became a member of the cover band called Fritzens Dampferband with Nina Hagen.
Some of the films Achim Mentzel made appearances in include The Legend of Paul and Paula which was produced and released in 1973 as well as Dex Wixxer which was released in 2004. He was also involved with television shows such as Das Amt and Leipzig Homicide.

Achim Mentzel Cause of Death
Achim Mentzel was known to have died on January 4, 2016. He died in Cottbus, Brandenburg at the age of 69. The cause of his death was attributed to a heart attack or stroke.
