A video of the late Ghanaian winger Christian Atsu playing with his two sons has surfaced online after he was confirmed dead. You can watch the video below.
Christian Atsu was found dead under the earthquake rubble in Hatay after 12 days of searching for him.
Take note, Christian Atsu plays as a winger for Turkish side Hatayspor. Atsu joined the Turkish side in the summer and scored a goal on the Sunday prior to the earthquake in the last minute as his team beat Kasimpasa 1-0.
Christian Atsu has played for numerous clubs in Europe such as FC Porto, Everton, AFC Bournemouth, Chelsea, Malaga CF, and Newcastle United, among others.
Atsu was capped 60 times for the Black Stars of Ghana and scored ten goals. Again, Atsu was named as the 2015 AFCON Player of the Tournament after Ghana lost in the finals to Ivory Coast.
The mortal remains of the late Ghanaian footballer, Christian Atsu arrived in Ghana on 19th Feb, 2023.
