Uschi Birr was one of the best-known personalities in the German animal magazine industry. She teamed up with other people in 1982 to form “Ein Herz für Animals” and “Ein Herz für Animals” became one of the most influential animal magazines in Germany.
She had animals at heart and in 1993, she launched “Partner Dog” and “Beloved Cat”.
With respect to writing about animals, Uschi Birr was both a writer and editor. She contributed her quota in writing the history of German animal magazines.

Uschi Birr was able to write several guides on how pets could be kept in the home and some of her books included “Successful Dog Training” and “The Cat in the Family”.
“Successful Dog Training” and “The Cat in the Family” were published by the former Falken-Verlag. As of now her magazines such as “A Heart for Animals”, “Partner Dog” and “Loved Cat” continue to be published.
They are published by Ein Heart for Animals GmbH, a company of the publishing house GeraNova Bruckmann.
Uschi Birr Cause of Death
Uschi Birr was reported dead on March 28, 2023. At the time of her death, she was 74 years old.
It was reported that she died after a short illness. However, the disease or sickness that took her life away has not been made known to the public.
