Ray Lewis III Biography
Ray Lewis III is the oldest son of NFL Hall of Famer Ray Lewis born on August 26, 1994. Just like his father, Ray Lewis III also fell in love with football was unable to go on to become a hall of famer like his father.
He played high school football at Lake Mary Prep where he left with impressive records. In his senior year alone, he recorded 20 touchdowns and carried the bar 190 times for 1,898 yards.
After high school, he then enrolled at the University of Miami, his father’s alma mater and quickly joined the football team. He played for the Miami Hurricanes just like his father and later transferred to Coastal Carolina University in 2015.
However, his time with the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers was cut short in 2016 after he was dismissed by the University due to his indictment for third degree criminal sexual assault. Further investigations by law enforcement officers in South Carolina later proved that he was innocent and the charges were dropped.
He then moved to Virginia Union University to complete his college education. As expected, he quickly joined and played for the Virginia Union Panthers.
After news of his death broke, his head coach at Virginia Union University was one of the people to send his tributes, tagging him as a “Great young man and a better teammate”.
Ray Lewis III later played in the Champions Indoor Football League for at least one season prior to his death. He played for the Wyoming Mustangs in the 2021/2022 season, appearing in seven games.
