The stage is set now for presidential and parliamentary candidates of the NDC to pick nomination forms as the party has finally opened nominations for its presidential and parliamentary elections.
The two-day exercise would champion the processes for the final stage of the party’s internal elections to pick presidential and parliamentary candidates for the National Democratic Council scheduled on May 13, 2023, to challenge on the ticket of the party in the 2024 general election.
The Breakdown — Aspiring parliamentary candidates would get the nomination forms at a fee of GH¢ 5000. Again, the presidential aspirants are to pick nomination forms from the office of the General Secretary of the party and at a fee of GH¢ 30, 000 thru banker’s draft.
However, female aspirants and individuals with physical disabilities would pay only 50 per cent of the fee charged.
Former President, John Dramani Mahama has made his intention known to run for President in the 2024 general election on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
