K.T. Hammond, 5 Others Are In The Position To Be Vetted Today

Minister assigned for Trade and Industry KT Hammond will show up before Parliament’s appointments Committee today in order to be vetted.

KT Hammond, the Adansi Asokwa MP was appointed for the ministry by President Akufo-Addo to take over from Alan Kyerematen who left the office to go after his presidential aspirations.

Aside KT Hammond, the MP for Nhyiaeso and former head of MASLOC, Stephen Amoah, who has been appointed as a Deputy Trade Minister will also appear before the committee.

Moreover, Bryan Acheampong, the MP for Abetifi Constituency, was also appointed to take charge of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture while MP for Akwapim South, OB Amoah has been nominated as the Minister of State at the Ministry of Local Government.

In President Akuffo Addo’s reshuffling, former Director-General of the State Interests and Governance Authority, Stephen Asamoah-Boateng is now the Minister of Chieftency and Religious Affairs.

Then again, Herbert Krapa, a Deputy Trade Minister was moved to the Energy Ministry as a deputy minister.
