Jesús Alfredo was born to the former drug lord and his first wife, Alejandrina María Salazar Hernandez. He is one of the children he had with her and set Jesús and his mother and siblings up in a ranch house in Jesús María.
Jesús Alfredo later joined his father in his drug business just like his other brothers. He was first arrested at the age of 23 in 2009 as a suspect for being a member of the sinaloa cartel.
