It Cost The President GH¢15 million In Replacing Tyres And Batteries – Ablakwa

The replacement of tyres and batteries of vehicles between January and September 2022 cost the Jubilee House a whopping amount of GH¢15 million.

The Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa disclosed this issue after examining documents on the expenditure produced by the Presidency to the parliament.

About GH¢ 51,109,137.86 was spent on fuel during the 9-month period by the Presidency. His Excellency, Nana Addo Danquah’s regional trips also cost the taxpayer GH¢ 16,906,272.45.

Hon. Okudzeto in a comment on his facebook account bashed the government for making a ridicule of cost-cutting measures given out by the Minister of Finance to save the country’s struggling economy.

Payment for Networking and ICT Equipment cost the suffering Ghanaian taxpayer an impressive GHS6.6million (6,600,000.00);

An additional expenditure on Office Equipment/Furniture and Fittings cost the suffering Ghanaian taxpayer a fantastic GHS7.07million (7,070,315.28);

Telecommunications and Internet Services from January to September alone cost the suffering Ghanaian taxpayer a shocking GHS20million (20,000,000.00).
