Gianni Morandi is an Italian singer, actor and television host. Gianni Morandi was born on December 11, 1944, and he is known to have sold over 50 million records worldwide.

The father of Laura Efrikian is the conductor and musicologist Angelo Ephrikian. Laura Efrikian graduated in acting at the drama school of the Piccolo Teatro in Milan.
She married Gianni Morandi in 1966 but they divorced in 1979. Some of the films she was featured in include Hercules and the Conquest of Atlantis (1961) and La Cittadella (1964)
