Ute Konig can be described as a German diplomat. Ute Konig is known to have been born in 1960 and since 2023, she has been the German ambassador to Malawi.

She also attended University of Lausanne and the Albert-Ludwig University of Freiburg and graduated in 1985. She underwent legal traineeship from 1985 to 1988 and then passed the second state Law examination in 1988. Ute Konig worked in the Human Rights Department of the Foreign office in Bonn between 1989 and 1990.

She also served in the Department for legal and Consular affairs at the embassy in Israel from 1990 to 1993.
Ute Konig between 1994 and 1997, worked as Personal advisor to Federal President Roman Herzog. She worked at the embassy in the United Kingdom with respect to the Political department between 1997 and 2000.

She also became the deputy head of the Human Resources Department in the foreign office in Berlin from 2000 to 2004. She subsequently became the Permanent representative of the ambassador in Namibia from 2004 to 2008. Ute Konig assumed the role of head of Germany Center at the embassy in South Africa.

This was from 2008 to 2011 and after her return to Berlin, she was made the head of the International Criminal Law Department at the Foreign Office from 2011 to 2015.
