Who Is Tom Cruise?
Tom Cruise is an award winning American actor and producer born Thomas Cruise Mapother IV on July 3, 1962 in Syracuse, New York to parents from Louisville, Kentucky.
His father, Thomas Cruise Mapother III was an electrical engineer whereas his mother, Mary Lee was a special education teacher. They died in 1984 and 2017 respectively.
Cruise is the only son of his parents and received the male treatment from his father as a child. He recalled how his father used to beat him at the slightest provocation.
However, he found love in acting very early in his life and became one of the ways by wish he de-stressed. By the time he got to fourth grade, Cruise had started participating in school drama.
He performed in an improvised play alongside six other boys at the Carleton Elementary School drama festival. He has been acting since then and today gas become one of the highest grossing box office stars of all time.

His personal life on the other hand hasn’t been as stable as his career as he has been in and out of three marriages and a few more relationships.
He was first married to actress Mimi Rogers from 1987 to 1990 and then to Nicole Kidman from 1990 to 2001. His last marriage was to actress Katie Holmes from 2006 to 2012.
He has three children, Isabella Jane, Connor Anthony and Suri.
