Théo Hernandez is a French professional footballer. He plays in the left-back position for Serie A club AC Milan and the France national team.
He was born on October 6, 1997, and he is noted for his speed, dribbles, and goalscoring ability.
As a matter of fact, he is considered one of the best full-backs in the world and he is the younger brother of professional footballer Lucas Hernandez. Théo Hernandez’s father, Jean-François Hernandez was also a footballer.
Théo Hernandez was born in Marseille and in 2007, he joined Atlético Madrid’s academy when he was just 9 years old. In the summer of 2015, he was promoted to the reserves in Tercera División.
Two days after he had renewed his contract, Théo Hernandez was called up to the first team for a La Liga match against Eibar. However, he couldn’t play due to an injury. He was loaned to Deportivo Alavés for one year.

He was invited to play for the France senior squad on August 26, 2021, and played his first match on September 7, 2021, in a World Cup qualifier against Finland.
Théo Hernandez together with his brother, Luca played for the French national team under the leadership of Didier Deschamps. Théo Hernandez was in November 2022 was named in the final squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
