Quincy Taylor Brown was born on June 4, 1991 in New York City, U.S. Al B. Sure! is his biological father and also, Kim Porter is his mother. However, he has a stepfather known as Sean Combs.

Interestingly, Quincy was born on his father’s birthday. As a matter of fact, his father, Al B. Sure! named him after his godfather, music and entertainment icon, Quincy Jones. Al B Sure!’s mentor was Quincy Jones. 

Kim Porter started a new relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs when Quincy was three years old. Sean Combs then became Quincy’s informal stepfather afterwards. 

For his 16th birthday, Diddy and Porter threw Quincy a celebrity studded party in Atlanta that was featured on MTV’s My Super Sweet 16.[6] His family moved around often but he spent most of his youth in Columbus, Georgia and later moved to Los Angeles, California in his final years of high school and completed his education at Calabasas High School.

For Quincy’s 16th birthday, Kim Porter and Diddy hosted a star-studded party in Atlanta, featured on MTV’s My Super Sweet 16. Despite frequently moving, Quincy Brown spent most of his youth days in Columbus, Georgia.
