Maluma was born on January 28, 1994, and his original name is Juan Luis Londoño Arias. Maluma is his stage name as a Columbian singer and songwriter. His parents are Marlli Arias and Luis Londoño and he had an older sister called Manuela.
While growing up, Maluma played soccer for eight years and he was a player with the lower divisions of Atlético Nacional and Equidad Club Deportivo teams.
Apart from soccer, he was active so far as volleyball, ping pong, and chess tournaments were concerned. Even as a child, Maluma showed his love for music.
