Karl-Heinz Rummenigge Children: Full Details

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is a German football executive and former professional player. He was born on September 25, 1955, in Lippstadt, North Rhine-Westphalia. He is considered one of Germany’s greatest footballers.

For a long period of time, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge was the Chairman of Executive Board of FC Bayern München AG and also served as chairman of the European Club Association from 2008 until 2017.

He chalked so much success with Bayern Munich as a player. He won the Intercontinental Cup, two European Cups, as well as two league titles and two domestic cups with Bayern Munich.

It is important to also note that he has won two Ballon d’Or awards, in 1980 and 1981. He was a member of the West Germany national team and was a member of the team that won the 1980 European Championship and part of the team that placed second in the 1982 FIFA World Cup as well as the 1986 World Cup.

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge joined Bayern Munich in 1974 after moving from Borussia Lippstadt and between 1979 and 1980, he scored 26 goals. In 1981 and 1984, he scored 29 and 26 goals, respectively and he won European Cup in 1975 and 1976 with Bayern Munich.

He helped Bayern Munich to win many titles and in 1980, he was named German Footballer of the Year and in 1980–1981 the European Footballer of the Year.

In 1984 when Karl-Heinz Rummenigge was 29 years old, he made a move to Inter Milan.

He could not do so well with the club due to injury problems and as such, at the end of his contract in 1987, he moved to Swiss first division club Servette FC in Geneva.

the 1988–89 football season, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge became the top scorer in the Swiss league with 24 goals.
