Hubert von Meyerinck was a German film actor who lived from August 23, 1896, to May 13, 1971. He was born in Potsdam, Brandenburg and his father was Friedrich von Meyerinck. Friedrich von Meyerinck was a captain in the Prussian Army.

Hubert von Meyerinck attended the gymnasium secondary school in Godeberg and passed his Abitur exams. Even though he was in the military as a cadet in World War I, he was subsequently dismissed due to a pulmonary disease. The debut of Hubert von Meyerinck as a theatre actor was in 1917 when he made an appearance at the Schauspielhaus in Berlin.

It must be noted that between 1918 and 1920, went forth with his career at the  Hamburg Kammerspiele. Quite unfortunately, he was identified as a homosexual. So far as Hollywood is concerned, he made an appearance in Billy Wilder’s film satire One, Two, Three (1961). Hubert von Meyerinck was said to have from heart failure in Hamburg.

He was subsequently buried in the Schladen cemetery near Braunschweig. Before his death , Hubert von Meyerinck was known to have made appearances in over 280 films .
