Helmut Kulitz can be described as a German diplomat who was born on May 5, 1960. Helmut Kulitz is also an ambassador and has been serving as Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Mongolia. He has been the ambassador since August 2023.
It must be noted that Helmut Kulitz has worked at the embassies in Cairo as well as Sofia. Between 2000 and 2003, he was a member of the human rights working group at the foreign office. He also served as First Secretary between 2003 and 2007 and then served as Counselor at the Permanent Mission to the OSCE.
He participated in the sixth winter session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in February 2007. Helmut Kulitz worked as the Permanent Representative at the Embassy in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
This was from 2007 to 2009 and later between 2009 and 2012, he served as a research coordinator with respect to the planning staff of the Foreign Office in Berlin.
He has served as Ambassador to Chad.
Helmut Kulitz subsequently moved to the European External Action Service where he was responsible for managing the European Union delegation in Gabon from 2015 to 2019.
He also had responsibility over Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Sao Tome and the Central African regional organization ECCAS. He made a return to the Foreign Service of Germany in September 2019 and became the Permanent Representative at the embassy in Nigeria till October 2021
