Heinz Drache Cause of Death: Full Details

Heinz Drache was born on February 9, 1923, in Essen and he was a German actor, radio play and voice actor. He had his high school education at the Alfred Krupp High School in Essen-Holsterhausen. He successfully graduated with high school diploma and then commenced his acting career in the theater.

Some of the places he performed at include Nuremberg, Düsseldorf and Berlin. While in Berlin, Heinz Drache met Gustaf Gründgens who subsequently brought him Düsseldorf. Heinz Drache got the chance to play a role in Friedrich von Schiller’s The Robbers and in the play Der Schatten, which premiered in 1947.

Some of the people Heinz Drache worked with included  Käthe Gold, Marianne Hoppe, Gustav Knuth and Elisabeth Flickenschildt. In the 1950s, Heinz Drache started paying lead roles in numerous television films. The crime films based on Edgar Wallace and Francis Durbridge made Heinz Drache popular in the 1960s.

Heinz Drache played the role of detective inspector Harry Yates from Littleshaw alongside Albert Lieven in the six-part ” Straßenfeger ” The Neckerchief in 1962. He won the Golden Bravo Otto as the most popular TV star in the readers’ poll of the youth magazine BRAVO in 1962.

From 1946, it must be noted that Heinz Drache also worked as a radio play announcer at  NWDR Cologne which later became WDR. He also worked as a voice actor.

Heinz Drache died on April 3, 2002. He died after suffering from lung cancer for some time. Heinz Drache died in a Berlin hopsital at the age of 73.He was buried in the Dahlem cemetery.

He was married to Rosemarie Eveline Nordmann and they had been married since 1957. They had three children.
