Over the years, he is said to have contributed to defining the health strategies for the Bologna metropolitan area, guaranteeing the development and sustainability of the Bolognese health system and participating in the development of the Vast Area.
Due to the experience of Francesco Ripa di Meana as director of Occupational Medicine services as well as project manager of international cooperation projects, he developed an interest in public management.
Francesco Ripa di Meana had his studies at Bocconi University and also participated in various government projects. Francesco Ripa di Meana was also the General Director of the company IFO-Regina Elena (National Cancer Institute) and San Gallicano in Rome.
