Eva Maria Pieckert was born on September 7 , 1955, in Halle (Saale) ). Eva Maria Pieckert is a German pop singer and former East German youth politician of the Free German Youth (FDJ).

Her first musical experience was with the  Ulrich von Hutten school choir. The  Ulrich von Hutten school choir was quite successful at home and abroad during the annual Handel Festival in Halle.

Eva Maria Pieckert enrolled at the  Leipzig University of Music when she was just 16 years old. She graduated after five years of studying at the  Leipzig University of Music. She was in June 1981 at the XI and in May 1985 at the XII.

Parliament of the FDJ elected as a member of the Central Council of the FDJ. She has won several prizes at national singing competitions and at international festivals some of which include the Goldene Bernstein-Nachtigall in Sopot in 1984.

She was at the Friedrichstadtpalast in Berlin, as a guest artist and gave a good performance at the  annual Opera Ball in Frankfurt am Main. Eva Maria Pieckert was a guest artist at Berlin’s Waldbühne in 2000 and in 2006, she was also on the Dresden Theaterplatz to mark the 800th anniversary.

Between 2000 and 2001, Eva Maria Pieckert with Carmen Nebel toured Germany and she was a guest soloist in the folk music Christmas festival. It is also important to note that between 2002 and 2005, Eva Maria Pieckert and Walter Plathe together and they performed the Christmas play Stories from Christmas Tree Geese in the comedy on Kurfürstendamm in Berlin and in the comedy Winterhuder Fährhaus in Hamburg.

She was the moderator of the entertainment show Der Lange Saturday together with Wolfgang Winkler on MDR. She also made appearances on TV programs such as Willkommen bei Carmen Nebel on ZDF and the Mother’s Day show on Petra Kusch-Lück on MDR. She is a member of the ensemble of the Berlin Kriminal Theater.
