Andrea Jürgens was born on May 15, 1967, and she was a German schlager singer. Andrea Jürgens became very popular in the late 1970s as a child star. “Und dabei liebe ich euch beide” (And Yet I Love You Both) was the first hit song she had at age 10. It is important to note that Andrea Jürgens has been active on the music scene for a long time and over the years, she has more than 60 single releases to her credit.

His parents were Margret and Heinz Jürgens and she was born in Wanne-Eickel, North Rhine-Westphalia, West Germany. She performed “Und dabei liebe ich euch beide” (And Yet I Love You Both) in her very first television appearance which took place in the ARD-Silvestergala on New Year’s Eve of 1977/1978.

” Und dabei liebe ich euch beide” (And Yet I Love You Both) was known to have been written by  Jack White and Jon Athan and the lyrics of the song spoke about divorce from a child‘s view. Andrea Jürgens was the viewers’-choice winner on ZDF-Hitparade, a television show conducted by Dieter Thomas Heck.

She released “Ich zeige Dir mein Paradies” (I’ll Show You My Paradise) and “Tina ist weg” (Tina’s missing) in the fall of 1978. Later in 1979, Andrea Jürgens released “Ein Herz für Kinder” (A Heart For Children) and “Eine Rose für dich” (A Rose For You) which became very successful.

The Christmas album Weihnachten mit Andrea Jürgens by Andrea Jürgens was published in October 1979. In just three months, over I1.5 million copies were sold and the album also achieved multiple gold records and double platinum.

Andrea Jürgens died of kidney failure on July 20, 2017. She was 50 years old at the time of her death. She has various national prizes and awards to her credit. Andrea Jürgens also recorded many silver, gold and platinum records for her singles and albums.

She received the Golden Tuning Fork in 1982 and 1983. Andrea Jürgens received silver in 1978 and 1979 as well as  and 1979 and bronze lions from Radio Luxembourg in 1980 and 1984. She received the “Golden Note from RTL” for the title “Amore Amore” in 1989 and the Smago! music prize for her comeback! Award in 2016.
