Yaa Pono, also known as Ponobiom is one of Ghana’s hardest rappers. He began his career alongside Sarkodie, Edem, D Cryme and other rappers that started their careers in Tema and it’s environs.
Ponobiom has come out with a new song titled “Yard” and it’s asserted that some lines in the song are directed at rapper Sarkodie. As to why Ponobiom will diss Sarkodie we do not know especially as we’re not aware of any dispute between the two.
In the “Yard” song Yaa Pono has a line in there which reads “Since when did we feature the dead” and this is speculated as his opinion on Sarkodie being featured on Bob Marley’s “Stir it up” refix.
As to whether the line was directed at Sarkodia or not we cannot confirm but the internet carries it’s own narrative.
