Nuri Şahin, born September 5, 1988, is a professional football manager and former player who had a successful career in both domestic and international football.
He began his career at Borussia Dortmund and later played for Real Madrid and Liverpool before retiring in 2021.
Sahin, who was born in Germany to Turkish parents, represented Turkey at the international level. He debuted for the senior team in 2005 and went on to gain 52 caps until retiring in 2017.
He was a member of the Turkish team that placed fourth in the 2005 Under-17 World Cup in Peru, where he was awarded the bronze ball for his efforts.
