Jeannine Michaelsen is a German television and radio presenter and musical actress. She was born on December 23, 1981, in Troisdorf but grew up in the area around Königswinter in the Siebengebirge.
She attended the local Gymnasium am Oelberg and had training in dance, singing and acting at the stage school in Hamburg in 2001.
She completed in 2004 with a diploma in stage acting with distinction. She played a role in the musical Westerland in the Delphi Showpalast in Hamburg in 2007/08.
In 2008, Jeannine Michaelsen was the presenter of the internet television show Ehrensenf and over the years, she has presented various television programs, including the knowledge magazine Xenius from 2011 to 2013 for the German-French cultural broadcaster Arte.
Together with Wolf-Christian Ulrich on the specialist channel ZDFinfo, she co-moderated the program Log in.
This was between April 2012 and February 2013. She also hosted the program Sport Xtreme and was a correspondent for ZDF during the 2012 European Football Championship.
Jeannine Michaelsen has been moderating the show Joko vs. Klaas – The Duel Around the World since 2012 and it got nominated for German Television Award as well as the Rose d’Or in 2012.
Jeannine Michaelsen was in charge of Night of the Raging Bulls in 2013 and 2014 and moderated The show Die Fernsehen – Willkommen im TV-Wahnsinn with Pierre M. Krause and Philipp Walulis in February 2015.
Between 2015 and 2018, Jeannine Michaelsen was the host of ProSieben show Teamwork – Play with your star.
