Dawid Tomaszewski is an award-winning Polish art fashion designer born on November 21, 1980, in Gdansk, Poland to Polish parents. His main interest while growing up was in fashion.

Tomaszewski was fascinated by fashion design and everything that has to do with fashion hence after high school, he attended the London College of Fashion as well as Akademie der Künste to study fashion and arts. He also attended the University of Fine Arts in Poznan where he studied History of art.

He contested in the television show “the next fashion talent” in 2008 where he made it to the finals. Through the show, Tomaszewski became popular to an extent and was chosen to design a bag for Design Hotels.

That same year, he designed a t-shirt for Hallhuber. He then thought it wise to launch his label in late 2008 under his name “Dawid Tomaszewski” and exhibited his collection at several shows and exhibitions including the Premium exhibition in Berlin.

Through that, he was featured in top magazines like Elle, Vogue, Vanity Fair, and many others.  He was awarded an honorary award by Golden Thread in 2011. Before that, he was awarded with Premium Young Designer Award in 2009.
