Jacopo Lazzarini, professionally known as Lazza, is an Italian rapper and record producer.
Lazza, who was born on August 22, 1994, in Milan, precisely in the Calvairate district, acquired an early interest in music. This inspired him to study piano at Milan’s Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory.
Lazza’s musical path shifted to hip-hop when he joined the Zero2 and Blocco Recordz collectives. He took part in the annual Italian hip-hop event Tecniche Perfette in 2009, displaying his skills and laying the groundwork for his future in the business.
On November 5, 2012, Lazza released his first mixtape album, Destiny Mixtape. His second mixtape, K1 Mixtape, was released on December 29, 2014, and was produced by DJ Telaviv of Blocco Recordz.

It also set a record by becoming the longest-running album to lead the FIMI Albums Chart in the previous 10 years, lasting 14 weeks.
Lazza’s talent and success in the Italian music industry were recognised further when he was named a participant in the Sanremo Music Festival 2023. “Cenere,” his entry, came in second place.
