What was the Cause of Shahzada Dawood’s son Suleman’s Death?
Dawood traveled to Canada for a month with his family after leaving their home in London. Shahzada, who has a long-standing love of science and adventure, decided to take his wife on a trip to the Titan submarine during the Father’s Day weekend to see the Titanic’s ruins. Suleman, their 19-year-old son, was excited to go on the trip, so his wife graciously gave his wife’s ticket to him.
Tragically, after diving for around an hour and 45 minutes, the Titan submarine lost communication with the MV Polar Prince. On June 22, 2023, the United States Coast Guard confirmed the discovery of debris about 1,600 feet (500 meters) from the Titanic’s bow.
All of the passengers on board the Titan, including Shahzada Dawood, his son Suleman, Hamish Harding, Paul-Henri Nargeolet, and OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, sadly died instantly.
