Sandra Huller’s Daughter: Full Details

Sandra Huller can be described as a German actress who was born on April 30, 1978. She is currently 45 years old and regardless of the fact that she is a German actress, she has not only made appearances in German films. Over the years, Sandra Huller has been featured in Austrian, American, British as well as French Films.

It must be noted that she won the Silver Bear Actress of the Year for the role she played in the 2006 drama, Requiem. She was also featured in the 2016 comedy, Toni Erdmann. For her role in Toni Erdmann, she was the proud recipient of the European Film Award for Best Actress.

Just last year, Sandra Huller was featured in the comedy Sisi & I. Sandra Huller experienced the stage for the very first time with the 1996 production of Wir Voodookinder while she was in high school. The production was staged at the Theaterteffren der Jugend in Berlin. Between 1996 and 2000, Sandra Huller was at the Hochschule Fur Schauspielkunst Ernst where she studied acting.

Between 1998 and 2001, she served at the Jena Theater, Thuringia and was also at the Schauspiel Leipzig for a year. Until 2006, Sandra was at the Theater Basel.
Sandra Huller was part of the jury at the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival alongside Emily Jacir and David O’Reilly. She was also a member of the company at the Munich Kammerspiele between 2012 and 2015.

While at Munich Kammerspiele, she worked on several plays with the assistance of Director Johan Simmons. Sandra Huller was the proud winner of the German Film Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2014 and this was in respect of her role in the film titled Finsterworld.

She co-founded the FARN.collective theater group.
She became a member of Berlin’s Academy of Arts in 2017 and in 2018, she also became a member of the company at the Schauspiel Bochum. In 2019, she was a member of the jury for the 69th Berlin International Film Festival and in the same year, she made appearances in two French films.

Sandra Huller is the only German apart from Julia Jentsch and Paula Beer to win both the European Film Award and the Silver Bear for Best Actress, top honors of the European Film Academy a s Berlin Film Festival in the 21st century. She has several radio plays, audiobooks and honors to her credit.
