Sabin Tambrea is a German-Romanian theater and film actor who was born on November 18, 1984, in Târgu Mureș. He was born in Romania and it is interesting to note that he comes from a family of musicians.
Sabin Tambrea’s father was an orchestral musician who left Romania in 1986 to France for a tour. The family of Sabin Tambrea moved to his father in Germany but later they relocated to Hagen and that’s where Sabin Tambrea grew up.
The parents of Sabin Tambrea were part of the Hagen Philharmonic Orchestra and the Dortmund Philharmonic respectively.
The sister of Sabin Tambrea, Alina Armonas-Tambrea taught violin at the Darmstadt Academy of Music and was also a member of the Trio Enescu.
When Sabin Tambrea was only four years old, he received music lessons and also learned how to play the viola and piano. He was a soloist in children’s choir of the Theater Hagen when he was six years old.
Sabin Tambrea took part in the Jugend musiziert competition at regional and state level as a violinist from 1994 to 2002 and he placed first six different times and subsequently, became a member of the State Youth Orchestra of North Rhine-Westphalia.
He stopped music at the age of 18 and took to acting. He trained as an actor at Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin from 2006 to 2010.
Sabin Tambrea became a theater actor at the Berliner Ensemble. Some of the performances at the theatre he has been involved with include Philotas (2010), Robert Wilson’s version of Lulu (2011) as well as Katharina Thalbach’s production of Shakespeare’s What You Want(2012).
Sabin Tambrea has also starred in film and television productions.
In 2015, he played the role of Alice Dwyer’s jealous French lover in Andrina Mračnikar’s feature film Ma Folie and played the part as the diabolical SS Untersturmfuhrer Hermann Reineboth in Philipp Kadelbach’s television film Naked Among Wolves (both 2015).
Sabin Tambrea played a role in the ARD historical drama The Secret of the Midwife.

Sabin Tambrea is married to actress Alice Dwyer. They have been married since 2018.
Sabin Tambrea and Alice Dwyer live in Berlin but it is not known if he has any children or not.
