Roy Black was a German schlager singer and actress who lived between January 25, 1943, and October 9, 1991. Roy Black is widely known to have made several appearances in musical comedies. He made an appearance in the 1989 TV series titled Ein SchloB am Worthersee.
He had his education at the Holbein Gymnasium in Auburn. When Roy Black turned 29, he founded the rock and roll band called Roy Black and His Cannons. The band became famous and as a result, it got a recording contract with Polydor Records. Roy Black had to embark on a solo career based on the decision of his record producer, Hans Bertram. This was to afford Roy Black the opportunity to switch to romantic songs.
