Paul Horbiger was born on April 28, 1894, and was an Austrian theater and film actor.It must be noted that Paul Horbiger was born in Budapest, Hungary to Hanns Horbiger. Hanns Horbiger was an engineer and the brain behind Welteislehre cosmological concept.

With respect to education, Paul Horbiger attended the gymnasium at St. Paul’s Abbey in Carinthia. He successfully earned a Matura degree and subsequently served in the Austro-Hungarian Army in World War I. Paul Horbiger who had the rank of an Oberleutnant by then was discharged in 1918. He decided to make time for drama lessons. His acting career is known to have began at the city theater of Reichenberg in 1919.

Paul Horbiger died in Vienna when he was 86 years old. He was laid to rest in an Ehrengrab at the Vienna Zentralfriedhof.
