Born into a Ghanaian diplomat family, Baffoe grew up in Bonn’s diplomatic district, Bad Godesberg. Her sister Rosalind is an actress, and her brother Anthony is a well-known football player, therefore she comes from a talented family.
1992 saw Baffoe graduate from high school and begin her work as a media designer. After that, she continued her education at the Theatre der Keller’s theatre school in Cologne from 1996 to 1999 and the Herbert Berghof Studio in New York from 2001 to 2002.
Baffoe has acted in several German motion pictures and television shows over her career. Her portrayal of the Nigerian Mary in the enduring television series Lindenstrasse, which ran from 1995 to 2007, helped her become well-known.
