Klara Höfels was a German actress, director and theater producer. She was born on April 5 , 1949, in Grevenbroich and died on May 15, 2022, in Berlin. She is said to have had training in acting at the Folkwang University in Essen.
After completing the training, she worked at the Schlosstheater Celle from 1972 to 1974. While at the Schlosstheater Celle, she was involved in Tartuffe by Molière, The Plow and the Stars, and in Anton Chekhov’s Three Sisters.
Later in 1974, she relocated to the Kiel City Theater and was there till 1978. She served at the Schauspiel Frankfurt from 1978 to 1983 under the directorship of Peter Palitzsch. Other directors she worked with include Wilfried Minks, Hans Neuenfels, Maria Reinhard and others.
