Kevin Greutert can be described as an American film director, film editor and writer. He was born on March 31, 1965 and he is well-known for his work on the Saw film series, as well as character-based supernatural horrors.

Over the years , Kevin Greutert has worked on a lot of films and other productions. He has edited quite a number of films and some of these films are Saw (2004), Saw II (2005), Room 6 (2006), Saw III (2006), The Thirst (2006), Journey to the End of the Night (2006), Saw IV (2007), Saw V (2008), The Strangers (2008), The Collection (2012) and Jessabelle (2014).

Others are Visions (2015), Jackals (2017),Jigsaw (2017), Umma (2022),Cobweb (2023), Saw X (2023) and Divinity (2023).Kevin Greutert is known to have written the original story for and was signed on to direct Paranormal Activity 2.

He was however forced off the project but had the chance to work on Saw 3D . This was after Twisted Pictures (production company behind the Saw films) exercised a “contractual clause” in his contract. Kevin Greutert was subsequently replaced by Tod Williams as  director for Paranormal Activity 2.. Kevin Greutert  also published fiction in magazines such as Ambit and Magic Realism.

He has worked on several film scores, including the Paul Bowles documentary “Things Gone and Things Still Here’’. He was the director of the horror film Jessabelle for producer Jason Blum and Lionsgate.  Jessabelle was released on November 7, 2014.

Kevin Greutert is married to actress Elizabeth Rowin.Elizabeth Rowin can be described as an award-winning actor, writer, director and producer. She starred in “Saw 3D” alongside  Tobin Bell and Sean Patrick Flanery.

She also played roles in “Jessabelle”; and  “Visions”. She is  a product of the prestigious UCLA Advanced Screenwriting Program. She has written and directed many short films that have screened at festivals, and was a winner in the Silver Lake Film Festival.
