Jürgen Baumgärtner was born on April 24 , 1973, in Kronach and can be described as a German politician ( CSU ), career officer and member of the Bavarian state parliament since October 2013. It must be known that Jürgen Baumgärtner represents the Kronach, Lichtenfels constituency and has been serving as district chairman of the Frankenwald CSU since 2010.
With respect to education, Jürgen Baumgärtner has a secondary school leaving certificate and completed vocational training as a wholesale merchant between 1990 and 1993. It must be noted that Jürgen Baumgärtner had further studies and got trained to become an economics specialist and business economist.
He was quite active as a member of the Upper Franconian neo-Nazi scene and was also associated with the right-wing extremist aid organization for national political prisoners and their relatives (HNG). He disassociated himself from the neo-Nazi scene and got involved with the Catholic Youth as well as Young Union.
He won 48% of the votes cast in the 2013 state election to win the mandate in the Kronach, Lichtenfels constituency and subsequently become a member of the Bavarian state parliament. Some of the positions he held were Member of the Committee for Economy and Media, Infrastructure, Construction and Transport, Energy and Technology as well as the Committee for Health and Care of the Bavarian State Parliament.
He was re-elected to the Bavarian State Parliament in 2018 and served as a member of the Housing, Construction and Transport Committee of the Bavarian State Parliament. He was also the chairman of the Housing, Construction and Transport Working Group of the CSU state parliamentary group.
