He was later acknowledged as the third-tallest man from South America and the tallest Argentine to have ever lived. In addition, he held the record for being the tallest wrestler ever to represent both WWE and WCW.

González, who stood 7 feet 2 inches tall, started playing basketball at the age of 16 with Hind Club de Resistencia. Sports Club Caadense later signed him, but he had an injury that caused him to miss nine months of play.

González was a member of the Argentine national basketball team for the 1985 South American Basketball Championship, where they earned a bronze medal, but coach León Najnudel noticed his skill and decided to include González.

He took part in the 1988 Tournament of the Americas as well, coming in fifth. Scouts for the Atlanta Hawks were interested in his abilities, so he entered the 1988 NBA draught and was selected by the Hawks in the third round.

González, regrettably, was unable to adjust to the strenuous physical requirements of NBA basketball, mainly because of a severe knee injury. But this setback gave him a fresh chance in the world of professional wrestling.

González worked as an actor in addition to his wrestling profession. He appeared in the TV prequel movie Hercules in the Underworld as well as TV series like Baywatch and Thunder in Paradise.

González resigned from professional wrestling in December 1995 as a result of major health problems.

He was dependent on his previous manager and the Argentine Basketball Federation for financial support while residing on a ranch in Argentina. He started using a wheelchair in October 2009 and started receiving dialysis for his failing kidneys.

On September 22, 2010, González, 44, passed suddenly in San Martin, Argentina. He passed away as a result of serious heart problems and complications from type 1 diabetes.

González, who lived a very brief life, had a big impact on professional wrestling and basketball thanks to his towering stature and unforgettable matches.
