Jeffrey Epstein was born on January 20, 1953, but he died on.  August 10, 2019. Jeffrey Epstein was an American financier and sex offender. He was born to Pauline “Paula” Stolofsky (1918–2004) and Seymour George Epstein (1916–1991) who were Jewish. Pauline “Paula” Stolofsky (1918–2004) and Seymour George Epstein (1916–1991) got married in 1952.

Pauline “Paula” Stolofsky worked as a school aide and homemaker whereas Seymour worked for the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation as a groundskeeper and gardener. Jeffrey Epstein had a brother called Mark. Jeffrey Epstein was referred to as “Bear” by his parents and they referred to Mark as “Puggie”.

Concerning education, Jeffrey Epstein was known to have attended local public schools, Mark Twain Junior High School and in 1967, he was at the National Music Camp at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. He was said to be a talented musician as he started playing the piano at age 5. Jeffrey Epstein graduated from  Lafayette High School at age 16 in 1969 and he attended Cooper Union where he had math classes.

He attended the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University from September 1971, studying mathematical physiology, but left without receiving a degree in June 1974. He was born in New York City and his professional life started off with him being a teacher at the Dalton School. He did not have any college degree but he worked as a teacher. He was subsequently sacked.

Jeffrey Epstein ventured into the banking and finance sector and he worked at Bear Stearns. It must be noted that Jeffrey Epstein was an individual who procured many women and children whom he and his associates sexually abused.

He was under investigation in 2005 he was reported and accused of sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl. Through the investigation, 14 other young girls were also said to have been sexually abused by Jeffrey Epstein. After pleading guilty, he was convicted in 2008 by a Florida state court of procuring a child for prostitution and of soliciting a prostitute.

Jeffrey Epstein served almost thirteen months in custody but with extensive work release. Later on July 6, 2019, he was arrested and his crime was sex trafficking of minors in Florida and New York.

He was said to have six properties, along with other personal property, in New York, Florida, New Mexico, France, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. He also had two Virgin Islands properties, Little St. James and Great St. James. He purchased Epstein bought Little St. James for $7.95 million in 1998.

He also acquired the 161-acre Great St. James two decades later for $22.5 million. Jeffrey Epstein had 15 vehicles and two planes.

It must be noted that as of June 30, 2019, the wealth of Jeffrey Epstein stood at just over $559 million; $195 million of that dough was in hedge funds and private equities, $112.7 million was in equities, and $14.3 million was in fixed income. He only had $56.5 million in cash at the time. Before his death, his net worth was over $577.6 million
