Christine Westermann, born on 2 December 1948 in Erfurt, is a well-known German television and radio host, journalist, and author.

Westermann, who grew up in Mannheim, continued her academic pursuits after finishing her Abitur. She began her journalistic career as an editorial trainee at Mannheimer Morgen and continued her education at the Deutsche Journalistenschule in Munich.
She began freelance journalism in 1972, working for several radio and television stations. Westermann dabbled in film production and reporting, and she also served as moderator for the iconic ZDF television show Drehscheibe.
