Billie Eilish can be described as an American singer and songwriter. She was born on December 18, 2001, and would soon turn 22. It must be noted that Billie Eilish got the attention of the public in 2015 with the release of her debut single titled “Ocean Eyes”, which was written and produced by her brother Finneas O’Connell.
She also released her debut EP titled Don’t Smile at Me. The EP made it to charts in various countries including the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. Her first studio album was When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, released in 2019 and it made it to the US Billboard 200 and UK Albums Chart.
The album became one of the best-selling albums in 2019 as the fifth single of the album, “Bad Guy” became number-one on the US Billboard Hot 100. In 2020, Billie Eilish performed “No Time to Die” for the James Bond film of the same name, which topped the UK Singles Chart and won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 2022.
Other singles such as “Everything I Wanted”, “My Future”, “Therefore I Am”, and “Your Power” made it in the top 10 in the US and UK. Happier Than Ever (2021) was her second album which topped charts in over 25 countries.
Over the years , Billie Eilish has won seven Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, two Guinness World Records, three MTV Video Music Awards, three Brit Awards, a Golden Globe Award, and an Academy Award.
She is the youngest artist in Grammy history to win all four general field categories—Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year—in the same year and the first person born in the 21st century to win an Academy Award.

The parents of Billie Eilish are actress and teacher Maggie Baird and actor Patrick O’Connell. Both Maggie Baird and Patrick O’Connell are also musicians. Billie Eilish was conceived via in vitro fertilization.
