Eighteen (18) schools in the Ashanti Region have qualified for the 2023 NSMQ national championship. To get to the national stage of the National Science And Maths Quiz (NSMQ), a school has to first qualify from the regional stage of the competition.

In the Ashanti Region, the schools that took part in the 2023 NSMQ regional qualifications were grouped into 18 contests. The winners of each contest can be seen below.
Ashanti Region 2023 NSMQ Contest 1
Schools grouped in Ashanti Region NSMQ contest 1 are Kumasi Anglican SHS, New Edubiase SHS, TI. Amass Girls, Uthmaniya SHS and Namong SHTS.
At the end of contest 1: Kumasi Anglican SHS (67), New Edubiase SHS (26), TI. Amass Girls (22), Uthmaniya SHS (05) and Namong SHTS (04).
Winner: Kumasi Anglican SHS – 67 points.
Ashanti Region 2023 NSMQ Contest 2
Schools grouped in Ashanti Region NSMQ contest 2 are Aduman SHS, Sekyedumase SHS and Mpasatia SHS.
At the end of contest 2: Aduman SHS (24), Sekyedumase SHS (19) and Mpasatia SHS (10).
Winner: Aduman SHS – 24 points.
Ashanti Region 2023 NSMQ Contest 3
Schools grouped in Ashanti Region NSMQ contest 3 are Armed Forces SHTS, Kumasi Girls’ SHS, Bosome SHTS, Ibadur Rahman Academy and ST. MARY’S GIRLS’, KONONGO.
At the end of contest 3: Armed Forces SHTS (39), Kumasi Girls’ SHS (34), Bosome SHTS (22), Ibadur Rahman Academy (06) and ST. MARY’S GIRLS’, KONONGO (19).
Winner: Armed Forces SHTS – 39 points.

Schools grouped in Ashanti Region NSMQ contest 4 are Ejisuman SHS, Mankranso SHS, Dadease Agric SHS and Effiduase SHCS.
At the end of contest 4: Ejisuman SHS (43), Mankranso SHS (30), Dadease Agric SHS (25) and Effiduase SHCS (22).
Winner: Ejisuman SHS – 43 points.
