Alfred Dreier was a German lawyer and municipal politician (CSU) who was born in Munich on January 20, 1940.

At the age of ten, Dreier moved to Erding from Munich, where he was born. He started working as a trainee at the Erding District Court in 1969 after completing his legal studies.

He served as acting chairman and subsequently chairman of the Fischer’s Charitable Foundation from 1986 until the end of 2008. additionally serving as Fischer’s Stiftungsverwaltungs GmbH’s managing director since 1991.

After that, he practiced law at the Erdinger firm. In 1972, he was elected to the Altenerding municipal council and the Erding district district council, where he held his first political positions.

Following his relocation to Wartenberg, he was elected to the market town council in 1978 and held that position until 2008.

He was chosen to be the district administrator’s deputy on May 8, 1978, following Hans Zehetmair. Dreier assumed official duties in October 1986 and continued them until February 1987, after Zehetmair was appointed Bavarian Minister of Culture in 1986.

He served as Xaver Bauer, the recently elected district administrator’s deputy, until 2002. He passed away in Erding on February 16, 2011.
