University of Ghana Medical Center
This hospital is found in Legon, in the Greater Accra Region. The building of the University of Ghana Medical Centre began in April 2013.
It has 650 beds.The Chief Executive Officer of the , hospital is Mr.Darius Osei.
Some of the wards they have are Paediatric Surgery Ward, Paediatric Emergency, Private Surgical Ward, Orthopaedic Ward among others.
The hospital’s departments are Paediatrics, Family Medicine, Laboratory Services, Pharmacy ,Ambulance, General surgery, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Imaging, Internal Medicine, Department of Dietetics & Food Therapeutics, Physiotherapy Clinic and The Training and Simulation Centre. 37 Military Teaching Hospital
It is located in the heart of Accra at the 37 Surbub or Accra. The same location houses the 37 Military Regiment.
Korle Bu Teaching Hospital
The Korle Bu Teaching Hospital was founded on 9th October, 1923. It is about 1,500 bed capacity. It is the leading national referral centre in Ghana. It is located in the Greater Accra Region.
Korle Bu became a teaching hospital in 1962 and has affiliation with the University of Ghana. Dr. Daniel Asare is the Chief Executive Officer for Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
There are various departments at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. Some of the available and active departments include: Medicine, Child Health, Anaesthesia, Polyclinic, Emergency unit for both the Medical and Surgical Units and a Pharmacy.
Other non-clinical departments include Finance, Engineering, Administration and Dietetics.
As at now, the Hospital has 2,000 beds and 17 clinical and diagnostic Departments/Units. It has an average daily attendance of 1,500 patients and about 250 patient admissions.

Cape Coast Teaching Hospital
It is located in the Central Region and is a 400 bed capacity referral Hospital. The Hospital started working fully on 12th August, 1998 .
Chief Executive Officer of the hospital is Dr. Eric Kofi Ngyedu.
It is affiliated to the University of Cape Coast.
The departments they have there are OPD, Pathology, Intensive Care Unit, Dialysis, Physiotherapy, Accident and Emergency, Nursing Administration, Biostatistics, Technical department and so on.

Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital
It is found in Kumasi, and has 1000 beds.
In 1954, the new hospital complex was completed and named the Kumasi Central Hospital and began work in 1955. The Chief Executive Officer of the hospital is Dr. Joseph Akpaloo.

Ho Teaching Hospital
This hospital is located in the Volta Region. It had 240 beds at the time it was being commissioned on 29th April, 2019. It has affiliation to the University of Health and Allied Sciences.
The departments they have are: Administration & Support Services, Finance, Internal Audit, Internal Medicine, Surgical, Pharmacy, Public Health, Nursing Administration, Dental/ENT, Diagnostic Services and Child Health.

Tamale Teaching Hospital
It is a 800 bed capacity referral Hospital found in the Northern part of Ghana. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Tamale Teaching Hospital is Dr. Kareem Mumuni.
The hospital is affiliated to the university of Development Studies.
The medical departments they have at the hospital are Cardiothoracic Surgery, Cardiovascular Diseases, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, General Surgery, Consultative and Diagnostic Medicine and Infectious Diseases.
The hospital began full operations on 12th August, 1998 and was declared the best Regional Hospital in 2003.
