Roland Ernst Cause of Death: Full Details

Roland Ernst was born on November 11, 1936. He was a German real estate entrepreneur and project developer. It is important to note that Roland Ernst grew up in a family that had furniture manufacturers in Eschelbronn. He graduated from high school. He read business administration and law for a few semesters.

Later in 1959, Roland Ernst founded a furniture sales business using his father’s inventory. He was also active in the real estate business and was the brain behind the company named Roland Ernst Planning and Financing Commercial Property in 1969.

The company was relocated to Heidelberg in 1986. As part of his work, he built warehouses, halls and department stores in Germany first of all and then in Sydney, Tokyo and Florida.

For most of the projects Roland Ernst had to undertake, he founded joint ventures with other partners. He had a private residence in the self-renovated Hackesche Hofe. During the career of Roland Ernst, he carried out very major construction works in Leipzig and Dresden.

Unfortunately in 1997, he was arrested due to a sham transaction with Sachsenmilh and was fined. He was known to the owner of over 160 companies in the 1990s Roland Ernst was also to employ about 2,000 people.

His sales figure was around 10 billion German marks. Later in the fall of 1999, Adier Real Estate AG took over the construction empire of Roland Ernst.

Again in March 200, Roland Ernst due arrested due to suspicion that he had been involved in fraud. He was made to spend four days in custody. After his trial which lasted for several years, he was sentenced to 1.5 years in prison for breach of trust and bribery.

In May 2000, Roland Ernst filed for bankruptcy.He was the Managing Director of Roland Ernst Project Development. He developed a controversial expansion of the Marriott Hotel on Vangerowstrasse at Pentapark.

Roland Ernst died on July 24, 2023. The cause of his death is not immediately known.
