Ernst Fuchs Cause of Death: Full Details

Ernst Fuchs was born on February 13, 1930, in Vienna. He was the only child of his parents; Maximilian and Leopoldine Fuchs. Ernst Fuchs was known to be an Austrian painter, graphic artist, sculptor, stage designer, composer and author.

He is believed to be a co-founder of the Vienna School of Fantastic Realism alongside Wolfgang Hutter, Arik Brauer, Rudolf Hausner and Anton Lehmden.

In 1941, Ernst Fuchs was a pupil of the “Zum Heilige Joseph” home. He was there for eighteen months. He received training in drawing and painting from the painter and restorer Alois Schiemann in 1942.

He was also trained by Emmy Steinböck and Fritz Fröhlich at the St. Anna painting school in Vienna so far as sculpture and painting are concerned. Between 1946 and 1950, Ernst Fuchs was a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and had teachers like Robin Andersen and  Albert Paris Gütersloh.

He had his first solo exhibition in 1949 and it was in Paris. He was engaged in icon painting in the  Dormition Monastery on Mount Zion ( Israel ) in 1957.

He became a Professor when he relocated to Vienna in 1962. He worked on the Nymphaeum Omega fountain at the  Otto-Wagner-Villa which he purchased in 1972. He sang and recorded mystically inspired records and worked with other musicians.

He worked with the likes of Klaus Schulze (1983) and Chris Karrer. He worked as an artistic designer of buildings in the 1990s and he worked at Thal parish church and a hotel complex in St. Veit an der Glan.

As an artist, Ernst Fuchs was associated with the likes of Salvador Dalí , Arno Breker, Mati Klarwein, Leonor Fini and Eva Nagy. He was the brain behind the cover of the unsaleable first edition of the magazine Nature in 1980. He was involved in seven to eight relationships and had a total of 16 children.

Ernst Fuchs was reported dead on November 9, 2015. He died in Vienna and the cause of his death is yet to be updated. Ernst Fuchs was buried in the Hütteldorfer Friedhof in the 14th district of Vienna, Penzing.

Over the years, Ernst Fuchs has won some awards. Some of these awards are the 1972: City of Vienna Prize for Fine Arts, the 2004: Austrian Cross of Honor for Science and Art, 1st class, the 2010: Great Decoration of Honor from the State of Carinthia and the 2010: Gold Medal for services to the State of Vienna .

Thal Parish Church, Rosary triptych in the parish church of Hetzendorf, Moses Fountain in Bärnbach and Moses Fountain in Wiener Neustadt (1997).

Others are the Nymphaeum Omega fountain system in the Otto Wagner Villa Park (1992–1996), a Special postage stamp in 1982, as part of the Modern Art in Austria set, Tomb of the musician and composer Moondog and Designed the art hotel Fuchspalast in St. Veit a der Glan (southeast Carinthia, Austria)
