Who Is Ariana Grande?
Ariana Grande-Butera, known professionally as Ariana Grande, was born on June 26, 1993, in Boca Raton, Florida.
She is the daughter of Edward Butera, the owner of a graphic design company, and Joan Grande, the CEO of Hose-McCann Communications. With Sicilian and Abruzzese ancestry, Grande considers herself to be of Italian American descent.

Young Grande started out in the music business by performing with the Fort Lauderdale Children’s Theatre. In musicals like Annie, The Wizard of Oz, and Beauty and the Beast, she played many characters.
She has shown her vocal prowess by singing at several occasions, like when she was just 8 years old and sang the national anthem at a Florida Panthers hockey game.
Grande made her Broadway debut at the age of 15 in the 2008 production of “13.” She received her breakout role as Cat Valentine in the television series “Victorious” (2010–2013) after Nickelodeon execs were impressed by her performance. In the spin-off series “Sam & Cat” (2013–2014), she reprised her part.
After record company executives found Grande’s YouTube cover song videos, they convinced her to sign with Republic Records in 2011.
Due to her amazing vocal range and whistle level, she garnered comparisons to Mariah Carey when she launched her debut album, “Yours Truly,” in 2013. The album’s debut track, “The Way,” made it into the top ten of the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and peaked at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart.
In her succeeding albums, “My Everything” (2014) and “Dangerous Woman” (2016), Grande continued to experiment with pop and R&B.
Both albums were commercially successful worldwide and gave birth to the smash singles “Problem,” “Break Free,” and “Bang Bang.” Her first of four straight number-one albums in the UK was “Dangerous Woman.”

Grande experimented with trap music on her fourth and fifth studio albums, “Sweetener” (2018) and “Thank U, Next” (2019). Both these albums’ critical and economic success can be attributed to them.
“Thank U, Next” shattered streaming records and was nominated for Album of the Year, while “Sweetener” took home the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album.
Numerous musicians, including Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, and The Weeknd, have worked with Grande.
She broke records for the most number-one Billboard Hot 100 debuts thanks to her collaborations on the songs “Stuck with U” and “Rain on Me.” She also holds several Guinness World Records, including the title of all-time most-streamed female musician.
In addition to her singing career, Grande is active in a number of humanitarian causes and is a supporter of social justice, mental health, and animal rights.
She has also dabbled in the fashion and cosmetics businesses. She has a sizable online fan base and is the most followed female user on Instagram.
Grande has received various honours for her accomplishments, including as Grammy Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and MTV Video Music Awards. She was listed on Forbes’ Celebrity 100 list and named one of Time’s 100 most important persons in the world.
