She grew up with two younger brothers in Emmendingen, close to Freiburg. Obert established her fashion company, Lean Selling, in 1990, and has been selling garments, shoes, and accessories through it ever since.
In Germany, Obert has appeared on a number of reality TV programmes. She took part in the VOX cooking competition “The Perfect Celebrity Dinner” in 2012. She competed on the fifth season of the reality competition “Promi Big Brother” on Sat.1 in 2017, finishing ninth overall.
