Mary Abigail Wambach, born on June 2, 1980, is a retired American soccer player, coach, and member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
She is widely regarded as one of the greatest female soccer players of all time.
From 2001 through 2015, Wambach had a distinguished career playing for the American women’s national soccer team.
