Lisa Olivia Munn is a Hollywood actress, television personality, model, author, and activist who was born on July 3, 1980, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
She attended Putnam City North High School and then went on to the University of Oklahoma to obtain a B.A. in journalism with majors in Japanese and dramatic arts.
Early in her career, Munn worked as a reporter for Fox Sports Networks and as an intern at news stations. She switched to acting after becoming disillusioned with her sideline reporting job, making her feature debut in low-budget movies such as Scarecrow Gone Wild and National Lampoon’s Strip Poker.
She co-hosted Attack of the Show! on the gaming network G4 in 2006 and immediately won over fans. She stayed with the program until 2010, redefining the gamer-girl stereotype with her mix of tech-savvy wit and bold comedy.
Munn’s Hollywood ascent gained traction in 2010 with supporting roles in Date Night and Iron Man 2.
