Malgioglio was born on April 23, 1945, and he is an Italian singer-songwriter, lyricist and television personality . He is known to have written some of the most well-known songs in Italian music.
Some of these songs are such as L’important è fini ( Premio Lunezia Antologia 2022), Ancora Ancora Ancora, Testarda io, Cocktail d’amore, Forte forte forte and Gelato with chocolate. The television career of Malgioglio started from the 2000s and over the years, he has worked as a commentator, competitor and host of various TV programs, both on Rai and Mediaset.
It must be noted that Malgioglio is an accounting graduate. He relocated from Sicily to Genoa where he worked at a post office. While in Genoa, he had the chance to meet some songwriters of the Genoese school, such as Gino Paoli, Luigi Tenco and Fabrizio De André.
